TITP is a special program run by the Japanese government that invites young people from developing countries (like India, Vietnam, and others) to train in Japan.

The goal? To help them learn advanced technical skills in fields like manufacturing, Nursing, Caretaker, Car-maintenance and much more.

After their training, they can bring that knowledge back home to boost their own country’s industries.

TITP for Indians

Since 2017, Japan and India have had a special agreement to help Indian youth join TITP. Before leaving, trainees get pre-departure training in:

Japanese language (so you’re not lost when you arrive!).
Work culture & etiquette (how to behave professionally in Japan).
Job-specific skills (so you’re ready to start training right away).

How does TITP work?

First Year

Level - 1

You start by learning the basics:

- Japanese language (so you can communicate at work and in daily life).
- Japanese workplace rules and culture.
- Hands-on training in your chosen field.

2nd - 3rd Year

Level - 2

If you pass a skills test, you can stay longer and gain deeper experience in your job.

4th - 5th Year

Level - 3

If you qualify and your employer agrees,
you can extend up to five years total,
mastering even more advanced skills
