For many, this marks their first time away from home. The first month is all about adjusting—learning to navigate daily life, managing health, and embracing new routines. With each passing day, confidence grows. Smiles broaden as the interns discover that life in Japan, while different, is full of opportunities.
Alongside practical skills, the training gently introduces Japanese manners, cultural customs, and workplace etiquette, helping interns feel more at home in an unfamiliar environment.
Learning the Language of Connection
Language is the bridge to understanding, and TechnoSmile’s daily Japanese lessons focus on conversation skills that interns will use every day—greetings, self-introductions, and workplace expressions. Role-playing and interactive lessons bring joy to learning, and the interns’ laughter often fills the room.
Cultural learning is equally vibrant. From local festivals and seasonal traditions to Japanese cuisine, interns eagerly explore and compare, saying, “Japanese culture is fascinating!” and “It’s so interesting to see the differences from my home country.” Their curiosity and questions reflect a genuine desire to connect deeply with the society they are entering.

Training extends beyond classrooms. Interns practice real-life scenarios—buying train tickets, using public transport, and learning proper waste separation. Safety is a priority, with lessons on traffic rules and disaster preparedness.
