The First Female Trainees from Technosmile India Take Their First Step in Japan

An inspiring story of courage, learning, and empowerment beyond borders.

It’s a proud and historic moment for Technosmile India — four female Technical Intern Trainees have just arrived in Japan, marking the company’s first-ever group of women trainees to begin their new life overseas.

With hearts full of excitement and curiosity, they are now attending their one-month post-arrival training program — a chapter that promises learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences.

In this exclusive interview, we sat down with these inspiring young women to hear about their first impressions of Japan, their hopes for the future, and the courage it took to step into a new world.

🌸 First Impressions of Japan

“Everything I saw was so exciting!” one trainee said, her voice brimming with joy.

“In India, the streets are always busy and noisy, but in Japan, it’s so quiet — no car horns at all!”

Their eyes lit up as they recalled their first moments in Japan — clean, well-organized streets, calm cityscapes, and the polite manners of Japanese people.

“Everything felt so new and refreshing. I couldn’t stop smiling!” they added, laughing as they remembered those first days.

For them, Japan wasn’t just a new country — it was a glimpse into a different rhythm of life, one that instantly captured their hearts.

👨‍👩‍👧 What Did Your Families Say When You Decided to Go to Japan?

“My family told me, ‘Go and have a good experience! Don’t skip meals and stay healthy!’”

Their families, they said, were filled with both pride and concern.

“At first, they couldn’t believe I was really going abroad,” one trainee recalled.

“But later, they said, ‘This will be a great experience for your life,’ and supported me wholeheartedly.”

With a warm smile, another added,

“They were worried, but also very happy for me.”

Even across thousands of miles, their families remain their biggest source of strength.

✈️ What Was Your Biggest Worry Before Departure?

“Being away from my family was the hardest part. Because of the time difference, it’s not easy to talk to them often,” one trainee admitted.

Being apart from their loved ones for the first time was not easy, but their determination carried them forward.

“I want to work hard here so my family can be proud of me,” she said firmly.

Another added with quiet strength,

“I was nervous about whether I could keep up with the job, but since I’m with my friends, I feel strong.”

Their bond with each other, they agreed, gives them courage to face every new challenge.

🕊️ What Are Your Thoughts on Safety in Japan?

“Japan feels much safer than India. People are kind and always willing to help when we go shopping,” said one.

“The streets are so clean, and I feel safe even walking at night.”

They were also pleasantly surprised by how naturally they fit into Japanese society.

“I thought people might stare at foreigners, but everyone treats us normally. I feel comfortable living here.”

That sense of comfort and inclusion, they said, gives them confidence to explore and grow.

“The schedule and rules can be strict, but the pre-departure training we had in India really helped us,” they said proudly.

Even after long days, their evenings are filled with laughter — cooking together, sharing stories, and occasionally teaching their friends from other countries how to make Indian food.

💡 What Have You Learned During Training?

“The importance of following rules and asking questions when you don’t understand something,” one replied instantly.

They all agreed that learning discipline and open communication is essential.

“Sometimes it’s difficult to follow every rule, but now I understand that it’s for our own good,” another added thoughtfully.

Then came laughter as one shared,

“I once got scolded by the teacher for not greeting at the right time — I’ll never forget that!”

At the training center, they’ve met people from Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, and have learned to respect and celebrate each other’s cultures.

“We’re learning to support one another — it’s like a global family,” they said.

🌈 Your Dreams for the Future

When asked about their future dreams, their eyes sparkled again.

“I want to live in Japan for a long time and experience many things.”

“I want to improve my Japanese and become more independent.”

“I want to get a driver’s license and travel around Japan someday!” one added with a big smile.

Every answer reflected their passion to grow, to learn, and to lead by example for many young women back home.

💬 Your Message to Indian Women Who Want to Work in Japan

Before the conversation ended, they shared heartfelt advice for other Indian women dreaming of similar journeys:

“There are so many opportunities here — learning before coming is very important.”

“It’s amazing to meet people from different countries and learn together.”
